The two presidential horses, Raila Odinga and William today campaigned in Homa bay and West Pokot respectively. They are racing against time to consolidate their support base ahead of August general elections. They are hoping to succeed President Kenyatta when his final term shall come to an end.
During today's rallies, they duo were both received by huge crowd that had milled up to listen to their agenda. From the photos circulating online, their rallies become a success without any chaos. This forced Nyeri Town Member of Parliament Hon Ngunjiri Wambugu to issue a different opinion over the same.
While taking to his account, the vocal Nyeri leader now states that crowd will not be a determinant factor on who will carry the day since both contesters have numbers. He goes ahead to reveal that other things will be considered. These other things he did not mention leaving his followers in a suspense.
What are these things that will be considered? This is something that has raised much suspicion because elections in kenya has never been won fairly. The deep state and system are seen to be siding with the former Prime Minister while the DP is left to battle on his own. President Kenyatta is yet to reveal his preferred successor.
