The last few months have not been easy for Deputy President William Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza group as they tried to campaign across the country.
The Deputy President has been identified as one of the leading candidates in the race which also includes ODM leader Raila Odinga who vyied under the Azimio banner.
The Deputy President has recently maintained a low profile as he awaits the election results to be released by the IEBC team. After days of silence, the Deputy President has finally resurfaced after he was pictured in a meeting with Mombasa gubernatorial candidate Hassan Sarai Omar at his Karen Home.
The Deputy President is seen sitting next to two landline phones. He was also operating his smartphone which is connected to what looks like a power bank. Sarai revealed that he was briefing the Deputy President on the campaign strategy for the Mombasa seat.
