Presidential candidates in the August 9, 2022 election: Raila Odinga (top left), William Ruto (top right), Professor George Wajackoyah (bottom left) and David Waihiga (bottom right)
The country is still talking about the two recent manifesto that were unveiled by DP William Ruto and Prof George Wajackoyah. While Ruto's manifesto was a conventional one just like that of Raila Odinga, Wajackoyah decided to go for a very unconventional route. He released his manifesto in what he called 10 point commandments.
Today George Mwaure will be the last presidential candidate to unveil his manifesto. He has announced that he will be presenting it to Kenyans at noon. Mwaure is expected to have an exact opposite of Wajackoyah's manifesto.
Mwaure and Wajackoyah have been disagreeing on most proposals. Mwaure has called out to IEBC and police to intervene saying Wajackoyah is misleading the public. He even asked a mental assessment to be done on Wajackoyah. On his part, Wajackoyah has said that he will not attend presidential debate if Mwaure will be present.
