Reports have emerge that President Uhuru Kenyatta, and Kalonzo Musyoka might have met with President Uhuru Kenyatta outside the country and could have agreed to go back to Azimio.
This happens even as meeting by Azimio top leaders votes to have Kalonzo back to Azimio La Umoja.
According to Robert Mbui,a close ally of Kalonzo Musyoka, they have agreed to have Kalonzo to rejoin Azimio.
"As a party, we have decided and debated that the nation is greater than Wiper. And since we committed to work under Azimio, it is time to exhaust all available possibilities. We are requesting the principals to meet with our party leader so that we can make a final choice based on the options on the table," Mbui said.
The Deputy Minority Leader of the National Assembly stated that they are striving for structured conversations free of obscurity so that the party is formally apprised of what is included in the coalition agreement for them.
He said that there is still time for additional dialogue, as the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has until the end of May to close its doors to presidential candidates, and that the party leader would announce the final decision.
"Our alternatives are still available, and we're not shutting any doors. We wish to be a part of Kenya's future, but we require an organized conversation. Currently, we are hearing about offers in the media. Our party leader does not have any written documentation outlining any offers," he stated.
