As the election continues, at mugomoini polling station UDA agents have been denied entry into the station and they have been harassed by the police. Cartels purporting to be the representing UDA party have since taken over the place and transact the business of the party.
Through the press release UDA secretary General Veronica Maina has expressed regrets over the turn of events saying " it is unfortunate after 29 years of multi Party and 10 years after progressive constitution which guarantee the rights of citizens to multi party democracy, misguided agents of state are still using the police to intimidate voters. We urge IEBC to take note of this intimidations and condemn them for what they are , abuse of the power by the executive"
The party has also urged voters not to be intimidates by instead turn out in Large numbers to vote so as to protect their democratic right.
We are a state as country where abuse of power by the executive is more evident than ever. People are being forced down their throats to accept what they don't like, and like what they don't want.
