Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, has today missed the government's main event in Embakasi East constituency Nairobi, where President William Ruto has presided over the pass-out ceremony of the General Service Unit (GSU) police officers for the first time as the Head of State since his inauguration.
During the live event which is currently going on in Utawala police training college in Embakasi through NTV Kenya Facebook page, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has been confirmed missing during the event after accompanying the President in a similar event yesterday. Where they presided over the pass-out of the Administration Police in the same institution.
After delivering his speech during the event, Interior Cabinet Secretary Professor Kithure Kindiki, called upon the President to address the graduants meaning the Deputy President was absent because if he was present he could have been the one to welcome the President to deliver his speech. Also President Ruto while delivering his speech he started by recognising all the leaders who were present, he only mentioned Interior CS Kindiki, Inspector General of Police Japhet Koome and other leaders he did not mention Gachagua.
