Kenyans on Facebook have challenged Laikipia Women Representative Catherine Waruguru to make her stand know by declaring whether she would ultimately join deputy president Dr William Ruto or Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga's camp.
This follows after Waruguru seemed to have failed to have failed to stick to Dr Ruto's team months after joining it in preparation for 2022 general election.
The calls from the citizens for her to make a bold declaration began a day after the vocal Women MP broached a subject on the DP and Raila's recent visits to Laikipia and Mt Kenya region, where both leaders pulled equally large crowds in roadside rallies. Thereafter, Waruguru has sought Kenya's opinion on the political faction that was suitable for him.
While responding to her message on Facebook, on Monday, netizens expressed mixed opinions on the matter. Some advised her to join the former prime minister's camp while others urged her to rejoin Dr Ruto's political faction.
"Its in our tradition as Laikipians to peacefully welcome visitors in our County. We have over the last 2 weeks witnessed a myriad of political events, all of which were respectfully accomodated both in Nanyuki and Nyahururu. As Laikipians we Celebrate Utamaduni Day with respect to the freedom of choice. On this day,I seek your opinion who would you rather I join going Forward Raila Odinga or William Samoei Ruto? She asked on Facebook.
The legislator noted that she would do a head count on all the opinions and then announce the results in a jiffy.
However, by Tuesday, she had not honoured the promise of announcing the netizens' opinion on where she should decamp to ahead of next year. That was why they requested her to make her stand when she posted a message about how he sponsored about 200 youth to study a construction course in her county.

The developments come months after Waruguru ditched Kieleweke and rejoined Tangatanga faction of the ruling party Jubilee.
