National Chairman of Youth For Ruto 22' lobby group has reacted after President Uhuru Kenyatta appeared to campaign for ODM leader Raila Odinga in Nakuru on Wednesday.

During the conferment of Nakuru Municipality with city status, the Head of State appeared to make his clearest endorsement yet of Raila for the 2022 presidential contest when he said "Mzee" might defeat his youthful competitor.

He said the race to State House is a marathon, and not a sprint for the swift, adding those thinking they have a head start may find themselves being overtaken just before the finishing line.

Karobia said Ruto hails from the Rift Valley, the land of record-breaking marathoners, and it will be an easy task for him to trounce Raila despite being supported by the outgoing President.

He asked Uhuru to advise the ODM boss to thrown in the towel and save himself from being humiliated by the DP at the 2022 ballot.

"If Politics is a marathon as U.Kenyatta wants us to believe, then his project RailaOdinga better withdraw from the race for what waits him is beyond his master's comprehension," he tweeted.

"The world champions in marathon races come from Rift valley, if 2022 Presidential race is a marathon in Kenyatta II words, then William Samoei Ruto has no opponent, the only hustle is best route to use to his swearing in Kasarani," Karobia added.
