United Democratic Alliance party candidates have so far won big in Raila's strongholds, sending a shock wave to his political mantle in the country. In Tana River, Danson Mungatana has won the senatorial race on a United Democratic Alliance party ticket.
Danson Mungatana got 34,129 votes against his close rival Jubilee candidate Hassan Dukicha who garnered 18,082 votes only. Another candidate on Federal Party ticket got 14,157 votes. Abdi Bule who vied using the Federal Party ticket has so far conceded defeat.
In other news, Raila Odinga who heads the Azimio seems to loose control of his stronghold as he looses key regions. So far he has lost another seat in ODM region. The Nyali seat has so far gone to UDA candidate Hon. Mohamed Ali alias Jicho Pevu.
