Four Kenyan Ambassadors who have decided to try their lucks in politics in 2022

An Ambassador is a person who represents the interests of the home country in foreign country and they are nominated by the President. Ambassadors are highly regarded because they represent the President in foreign countries.

As we approach the August general elections,we have some Ambassadors who decided to engage themselves in politics of the country. They include; Benjamin Langat who represents Kenya in Namibia, Julius Bitok of Pakistan, Kiema Kilonzo of Uganda and Mohammed Shidiye of Botswana.

Kenyan ambassador to Namibia Benjamin Langat will be running for Kericho county gubernatorial seat and he will face stiff neck from Senator Aaron Cheruiyot and Devolution CS Charles Keter. On the other hand, Kenyan ambassador to Pakistan Julius Bitok is eyeing to succeed governor Jackson Mandago in Uasin Gishu county.

Ambassador Kiema Kilonzo is eyeing to dethrone Kitui county governor Charity Ngilu. Lastly, Kenyan Ambassador to Botswana Mohammed Shidiye will be running as a Member of Parliament for Lagdera Constituency.
