Assistant President William Ruto has expressed his interest publicly to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta when he finishes his second term in office in August.
The second in command has been traversing the country as he sells his Economic model of the Bottom approach. He has been also drumming up support for UDA Party as he is expected to seek the presidency using it.
And according to the latest details, Deputy President held a meeting with 11 Governors who are supporting his presidential bid. Most of the eleven governors are from Rift Valley, the DP Ruto's region.

The meeting was held as DP Ruto Is expected to attend ANC party leader Hon Musalia Mudavadi's major declaration at the Bomas this afternoon.
