With 2,288,315 votes, former prime minister Raila Odinga is above of vice president William Ruto's 2,036,795 votes. Roughly 20,000 people have voted, with about 10% favoring Professor George Wajackoyah.
Around 53% of votes were counted, with Raila Odinga becoming president and the vice president receiving around 47%. So far, 4,355,279 of the 6,623,173 registered voters who have been reported have been verified as casting legal votes, while 36,115 have been deemed to be invalid.
