Some of the youths from Deputy President William Ruto's backyard is Uasin Gishu County, have vowed not to join his party the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) if his close men will not stop their selfish practices of appointing their close members to manage the party.
The youths from the region have raised their concerns Ruto's closest allies, the Soy Constituency legislator Caleb Kositany and his counterpart from Kapsaret Constituency Oscar Sudi, claiming that the two leaders are nominating their proxies to take over the operations of the party, while leaving out most of the qualified youths from the county.
According to the Nation, these youths have provided one condition for them to join the UDA party or else, they will not join the party. They are demanding that the two leaders should stop their current selfish interests of nominating people from their offices to manage the party, and allow some of them to get those positions.
They argued that the two leaders should care about the real hustlers, who are the majority youths who are still unemployed and that's their party slogan. How comes then that the same leaders wants to discrminate them.
