Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate had been claiming that the people who allegedly swindled the funds meant to help in the fight against Covid-19 were never arrested because they were friends with people fighting corruption.Today during Isiolo Campaigns William Ruto claimed that he will revisit the investigation on COVID billionaires when they clinched power. They urged Azimio leaders to explained how 65 billions got lost during handshake government.
According to Citizen News, Ministry of Health have dispelled over the lost billions of money during Covid pandemic. Politicians have been claiming Ksh.8 billions have been misappropriated during the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic by haphazard purchase of vaccines without regard for procedures. Ministry of Health through Principal Secretary Susan Mochache had claimed that the money is still on the treasury account. She claimed that only Ksh.2 billion was used to purchased, since vaccines worth over Ksh.20 billion have been supplied to the country to date by donors without payment.
