General election is nearing and all the candidates are campaigning across the country.Mt Kenya region has the highest registered voters compared to the regions in Kenya.Both Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition and Kenya Kwanza Coalition nominated their preferred presidential running mate from Mt Kenya region.They are expected to deliver more votes to their coalitions.
Azimio La Umoja One Kenya presidential candidate Raila Odinga was today in Busia county.Raila Odinga enjoyed alot of support from Western Kenya in 2017 general election. Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula are among the leaders who are supporting William Ruto from Western Kenya.
Raila Odinga today was accompanied by Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Vihiga governor Wilberforce Ottichillo, Kisumu governor Anyang Nyong'o and Busia governor Sospeter Ojaamong.
Former presidential candidate Peter Kenneth, Cotu Secretary General Francis Atwoli, Paul Otuoma and Okiya Omtatah were also present.
