The deputy president have today come out gun blazing to respond to president Kenyatta after yesterday's sentiment where president dared him to resign from the government instead of criticising the government from within.
Speaking in Kwale early in the day where he joined the kwale governor in sending off his mother, the DP informed the president that he is a man on a mission and have no luxury to surrender and that he will continue discharging his duties as stipulated in the constitution.
Moments after leaving kwale county, he sends another message to president Kenyatta, this time round, through his social media account. In his message, the DP apologised to president but insisted that the bottom up economy where the common man will be uplifted will have to continue..
This clearly shows that the DP is determined to occupy the statehouse with or without the blessing of president Kenyatta who other aspirants rely on for endorsement. The DP has also seen to attract a huge crowd whenever he makes a stop indicating that he is loved by the majority of citizens.
