
The race for the Senate seat representing Narok county will be extremely tough because the incumbent Ledama Olekina intends to fight for re-election on the Orange Democratic Movement party banner. He will face a fierce adversary in the form of the current governor Samuel Ole Tunai who will represent the United Democratic Alliance party. Both politicians have intensified their efforts across the country to boost support for their respective manifestos.
In a recent poll conducted by Mizani Africa Hon Ledama was found to have a better chance of defeating Ole Tunai for the Narok county senatorial seat. Tunai will come in second with 39.7% of the vote while Ledama from Azimio La Umoja will led with 40.6 percent.

Senator James Orengo in Siaya county has a larger group of supporters as he runs for county governor with 53% percent of the vote against Nicholas Odero Gumbo with 42% percent of the vote.
