People have traveled fara and wide on 25th of December to celebrate the Christmas festive which commemorates the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a big day across the world and great significance is attached to it. The Former Sports CS Rashid Echesa has not been left behind and he has posted himself enjoying his Christmas in the village, he said that he never had any invitation from friends to celebrate this Christmas.
People elicited mixed reactions as they showed support to the former Cabinet secretary. He was dismissed from cabinet under unclear circumstances and people showed solidarity with him by pouring encouraging messages. In his statement he posted "Marafiki na ndungu zangu wakristo hata kama mumekataa kunikaribisha, nimejipanga hapa village. Huko nje mnasemaje?"
He rose from humble beginning to become the cabinet secretary which shocked many people. He was a strong ally to the deputy president William Ruto.
