Through his official Facebook page Wangamati wrote "Governor Wycliffe Wangamati has joined traders of Soko Kubwa Market, Bungoma town, for a funds drive to meet the funeral expenses of Joyce Kibera, one of the traders, who succumbed to blood pressure complications,"
Wangamati who is serving his first term in office was elected on a Ford Kenya party ticket.
He is a staunch supporter of the president Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga's Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
It's only time that will tell if he will be reelected as Bungoma Governor come 2022 or not.
