An Advocate Gives Reasons Why Cases Take Too Long In Court Before Decisions Are Made

Roseline Odede is an Advocate High Court of Kenya. She has been playing big role in the court for over twenty years. Speaking on Citizen TV, Miss Odede expressed her woes over the cases that took much time before decisions are made. She was worried over the politicians and other persons with high ranking in government blaming them for corruption. She further revealed that most these people are playing major part to make sure their cases do not proceed. "One of the reasons the Judiciary keeps lamenting about is shortage of staff. But corruption could also be playing a part; some people play all sorts of games to make sure their cases don’t proceed." She said.

The advocate also gave highlights on some of other reasons that causes cases to take long in court. Miss Odede blamed the government for not employing enough staff so as to make their work easier. She asked the government to employ more staff Members. This will ensure decisions of cases are dealt with on a specific time. Roseline Odede has worked in various professional offices. She is currently among the certified Professional Mediator and an Independent Legal Consultant. This has led her to step on various ranks and public decisions towards her Professional career.
