
Kimilili member of Parliament, Hon. Didmus Barasa is on the run from the police after the security officers found out he is using Government vehicles for campaigns.

The police alleged that Barasa painted the vehicles with the UDA's yellow color and also placed pictures of him and DP Ruto on the car.
Didmus is also linked to changing the number plates of the vehicle. Kimilili police boss , Mwita Maroa, Sayed that the vehicle was found at Nasianda village in the Mp's homestead.

The police boss also alleged that the original number plate of the car was GK948J before the Mp changed it to KBS 709D.
"We did this in a joint operation involving officers from the government vehicles check unit officers from Nairobi, Serious Crimes Unit and Directorate of Criminal Investigations from Nairobi and Kimilili,” Mwita Said.
Mwita also said that the pubic residents of Kimilili gave the police a tip about the issue after they had earlier spotted the vehicle frequently being used at Didmus campaign rallies.
