Kenya Kwanza leaders yesterday took a swipe at Azimio's choice of naming Ms Martha Karua as the Azimio la Umoja second in command in August 9th General elections. Deputy President Dr William Ruto condemned Raila Odinga's move for assigning Martha Karua the work of reviewing the Constitution should they win the August General elections.
Leading the campaign of Kenya Kwanza Alliance, Kajiado County, his first rally since naming Mr Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate on Sunday, Dp William Ruto appealed to Kenyans to reject Azimio la Umoja aspirants, claiming the coalition have a possibility to undermine and mutilate the constitution through the office of the Deputy President.
“They made us to leave Jubilee, they also made Moses Wetang’ula and Musalia Mudavadi to leave. Yesterday Kalonzo Musyoka and Gideon Moi and OKA group left them because they have woken up to deceit." Dr William Ruto said.
He condemned Mr Odinga for causing them exit Jubilee party through his handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2018. He also accused him for ensuring that Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula left him because of his deceit, including Kalonzo Musyoka and Gideon Moi who left yesterday. Dp Ruto urged leaders to shun tribal politics and unite to serve Kenyans.
