Three candidates who were running for the imminent women representative and Member of County Assembly elective seats have already been declared winners in the highly contested August 9th general elections.
According to a news bulleting by one of the local media stations, that, NTV Kenya, Beatrice Kemei has already been declared the winner of the imminent Kericho Women Representative seat.
Beatrice Kemei was cleared to contest for the Kericho Women Representative seat on a United Democratic Alliance party ticket. She has been declared the winner on grounds that she had no opponent in the women representative race.
Secondly; Issa Aden Abdi has been declared the winner of the Member of County Assembly seat for Sabena Ward. This is because he had no opponent in the MCA seat for that ward. Issa had been cleared to contest for the seat on National Agenda Party ticket.
Thirdly; Julius Ngotie Kimutai has been announced the winner of the Member of County Assembly seat for Ravine ward. He was running for the seat on a United Democratic Alliance party ticket.
