In his state of the nation address, President William Ruto continued to make clear to Kenyans the importance of the economy and other current important matters for the nation.
The drought-related food crisis, the Hustler Fund, the introduction of GMOs, and the opposition's involvement in his government are the key subjects of the speech.
Kenyans did not take kindly to recent rumors that the government will try to establish an office of the opposition.
President William Ruto delivered a severe blow to the opposition leader by saying that he is not in office to grant others power similar to his in his speech this evening.
"I am not trying to give anyone jobs, I want to bring accountability on matters of the government. There is a role of the opposition." Ruto stated.
