Currently, the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is perceived to be enjoying huge support in Nyanza, Coast, Western and Lower Eastern. On the other hand, the deputy president William Ruto also feels he has the support of the majority of people from Mt Kenya and Riftvalley regions.
However, the DP has woken up today with a morning shock. This is after a group of over 700 professionals drawn from Marakwet and Keiyo communities met in Eldoret and endorse Raila Odinga.
The professionals said that Raila Odinga is the only person who can offer solution to the insecurity cases in the Riftvalley Region. The group also endorsed the current Elgeyo Marakwet governor Alex Tolgos in his quest to unseat Senator Kipchumba Murkomen.
