The race to win the next year's presidency has picked up on a very high note. Political leaders, from all political sides are working hard to make sure they popularize themselves to Kenyans. One of them is deputy president William Ruto.
However, the question of choosing the running mates is the current headache. This is basing on the fact that the choice of a running mate will determine a lot in the race. Therefore, all eyes are on the presidential candidates.
It is for that reason that Kirinyaga gubernatorial aspirant Wangui Ngirici has opened up on DP Ruto's choice of running mate. According to her, the deputy president slot shall complicate the whole arithmetic. She went ahead to add that watermelons might be found in the wheelbarrow, never say never.
The big question is, does Ngirici mean that the deputy president might surprise Kenyans? As Kenyans, we watch as events unfold. Time and chance will tell.
