DP Ruto Gets Prayer Warriors in Meru as 2022 Polls Move Closer

Deputy President (DP) William Ruto and his wife Rachael are known to be prayer warriors.

The DP's official resident in Karen, Nairobi has an alter where his family get a good time to go before God in prayers.

On Sunday, the DP alongside a section of his allies attended a thanksgiving service at the A.I.P.C.A, St. Lorent Angaine Church - Timau, Buuri constituency in Meru County, under Archbishop Samson Muthuri.

Speaking at the service, the Archbishop said that unlike a section of Churches in the Country which have banned politicians from addressing worshippers ahead of the 2022 polls, they do not fear politics because they fought for Kenya's independence.

"We do not fear politics because we fought for our Country's independence. We will give politicians a chance to sell their policies," he said.

He stated that they will walk the entire journey with DP as we head towards 2022.

"I want to tell DP, my people are good fearing they love you and they are praying for you. I thank you and the President for bringing unity in this Church. We will go this journey together. We are grateful to be with you today."

The DP might have gotten prayer warriors in Meru as the 2022 presidential race hots up.
