Kenyans and Kenya as a country is preparing itself for the fourth coming general elections to be held next year in the country. Political alignments and realignments are taking centre stage while political temperatures gain momentum day in day out. Politicians are aggressively traversing across the country as try to woo voters on their sides. Regionals kingpins are as well trying as much as they could to hold their strongholds on their grips tightly.
Western Region of Kenya is one such region that politics is being played on a high level. Amani National Congress party leader Hon Musalia Mudavadi is getting it hard to contain the region especially with the influence of the Orange Democratic Movement party within the region. According to Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto's Western Region of Kenya point man, Dr. Boni Khalwale, there seems to a political coup in the region. This is after COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli was announced today as the region point man ignoring Amani National Congress party leader Hon Musalia Mudavadi.
