The Church has revealed that Deputy President William Ruto and President Uhuru Kenyatta seem uninterested to be reconciled. Kakamega Catholic Diocese Bishop Joseph Obanyi says that they have tried to bring Ruto and Uhuru together but the two seem to enjoy whatever is going on between so that they can remain popular and relevant in politics. The Bishop says that they have tried talking to the two leaders but they are unwilling to listen to what they have to say about reconciliation.

Obanyi says that it is not prudent for a president and his deputy to differ and take their differences in public as it is unethical and threatens stability of the country. The man of God says that once you become a leader, there are things you are not allowed to say in public.

With only 35 days left to the elections, Ruto and Uhuru are likely to continue airing their dirty linen in public. The campaigns homestretch usually comes will a lot of emotions and the two leaders are willing to do any to capitalize on that so that Kenyans can vote for the camps they support.

Ruto is angry at President Kenyatta for saying that he is not fit to lead the country and that is why he is supporting Raila to succeed him. The DP has said there is nothing that can hinder him from leading Kenyans in the best way that they deserve.
