Kenyans Left In Confusion After New Details Of Ruto's 30 Phone Calls Before Naming Gachagua Emerges

Kenyans have been left in confusion after the second in command, Deputy President Willium Ruto choose Mathira Member of Parliament to deputize his in the fourth coming polls. The stem of the confusion arises from the fact that the meeting of choosing the running mate took about 17 hours after Dp had made about 30 calls to different people with different informations.

This came to be known when Rigathi Gachagua hinted that hinted that the meeting was just a mere formality to have everybody in the coalition on board without showing any form of alienation.

Gachagua noted that the DP had already made up his mind but needed consensus to ensure that every Kenya Kwanza member was on the same page with them and that is why he was selected to leader the team after Dp Ruto.

According to Gachagua, some of the factors that the Dp was considering were Mobilisation skills, civil service experience, ability to articulate issues, oratory skills, interpersonal skills and the all these were found on Rigathi Gachagua.

"Other than the listening to the MPs, the DP made 30 calls in each of the 11 counties and talked to different people to collect their views. He didn't want to make a mistake. He was making calls and putting them on speakerphone," Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua said.
