Gachagua Speaks How Raila Had a Huge Crowd in Nyeri, Reveals What Happened

The August presidential election is perceived to be a two horse race between Deputy president William Ruto and Azimio la Umoja flag bearer Raila Odinga.

Azimio One Kenya Presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua on Tuesday led a vote hunting mission in Mt Kenya region, Nyeri county where the was accompanied by Governor Hassan Joho, MP Junet Mohamed, MP Kanini Kega, Peter Kenneth, among other leaders.

Raila was warmly received by mammoth crowd as he made several stop overs in Othaya and Karatina.

However, Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua alleges that the huge crowd that attended Azimio rally was mobilized by area chiefs.

He alleged that the chiefs were also forced to form part of the crowd that had come to meet the Azimio Coalition leaders and cheer them.

Raila and Karua are yet to respond to Gachagua's remarks. The Azimio team is expected to continue with their rallies in Mt Kenya counties in bid to counter attack Ruto's allies.
