The Mathira Member of parliament hon Rigathi Gachagua has now supported the sentiments that were made by Former Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture Mwangi Kiunjuri about the Deputy President William Ruto and the Mt. Kenya Support.
Gachagua who was speaking to Ken at KTN news on Wednesday night cited that the Deputy President William campaign in the Mt. Kenya region is not over yet. He said that as Mwangi Kiunjuri said ,Ruto should continue engaging with the people of the Mt. Kenya untill the election day. He said that Ruto Should not just say the region is solidly secured.
He went ahead to say that,the Mt. Kenya region is also welcoming other leaders to the region and they are ready to listen to each an every one of them and their agendas for the region. He hailed the Orange Democratic Party leader Raila Odinga fir making an inroads in the region. He told that the right way and he should come again and again in the region and talk to the people.
Gachagua also ruled out that a section of Mt. Kenya Leader around the Deputy President William Ruto are after positions in government. He said they are just after the the economic welfare of Central Kenya region and nothing else.
