
There was a beehive of activities in kisumu the moment the leader of the opposition raila odinga landed in the area on Friday afternoon. His arrival coming just a few hours after holding a meeting with coordinators from all the 47 counties in Nairobi.

Raila landed in the area ahead of the burial ceremony of the leader of the luo council of elders who passed away a few days ago after falling sick. Raila was a received a by several leaders from the orange democratic movement including the area governor.

After his arrival the orange democratic movement leader was treated to songs and dance from traditional dances who had been contacted to provide entertainment once the opposition leader had landed in the vicinity.
The burial of the traditional leader is expected to take place on Saturday with several Top Ranking from the area including governors and members of Parliament from the orange democratic movement expected to attend.
