Senator John Methu has told the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to consider expanding the land for the Ndaragwa residents to have enough space to work.
While addressing the Deputy in Nyandarua, he pleaded with him not to fire him or short change him with another person, adding that, he needs that job and he will do anything to maintain it. He heaped praises asserting that any piece of land the Deputy President, Gachagua, will propose for them, he will not object.
He further noted that, he will not challenge the Deputy President in whatsoever case, adding that, challenging him will automatically result to him losing his job, which he is not ready to do.
"Your excellency, the work you gave me as Chairman of water and forestry committee. Our elder here in Ndaragwa are making their plea, that we do not have enough land to expand our services. I want to say this because I don't want to lose this job,"
"When you say it is 100 hectares or 200 or the whole forest you are giving us, I will accept as a Lawmaker. I don't want to fight with you, I can't win, and that will make me lose my job," he said before the Deputy President.
He added that his region is having a lot of problems with water, calling for the intervention of the second in command whom he vowed publicly to support at all cost. The Lawmaker, equally acknowledged the Deputy President for awarding him with the Chairmanship to lead the committee which he vowed to protect.
