Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has heaped praises on President William Ruto for clearing the hospital Bill for Mukami Kimathi, wife of the late Freedom fighter Field Marshal Dedan Kimathi at Nairobi Hospital. Gachagua, stated that the kind heart of Ruto is a reflection that he is a true friend of the Kikuyu Community.
Gachagua appreciated the intervention of Ruto, stating that Ruto is a true and genuine friend. The second in command added that, the family of Kimathi were so burden with the Bill.

Along the day, Gachagua had accompanied the President for a service function at Bomet Green Stadium. Gachagua, revealed that Ruto tasked him with responsibility to streamline the coffee, tea, and milk sectors so that farmers are not exploited by the Cartels.
