The two political bigwigs are already have their running mates, as Ruto picked Rigathi Gachagua while Raila appointed Martha Karua as their running mates.
Each of them gave reasons behind picking those politicians as their running mates. Today, Dr. William Somoei Ruto has also come out to disclose some of the hidden reasons that made them as Kenya Kwanza to pick Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate.
The second in command has said that Rigathi is a hard worker and also he is a God fearing man. "Two main things that made us agree as Kenya Kwanza to select Rigathi is because he is a hard worker and secondly, we believe that without God we cannot go far. In Rigathi Gachagua we have a God fearing man," he said.
