In the course of the interview, Nyeri Speaker John Kaguchia spoke on who will succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022. According to him, it is either DP Ruto or ODM leader Raila Odinga who will be the 5th President of this republic.
He went ahead to claim that Kalonzo and Mudavadi have announced their candidature to set a high bargaining power ahead of the 2022 alliance formations. This statement might trigger reactions from their supporters.
"Either Deputy President Ruto or Raila Odinga will be the president of this country come 2022…Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi & other candidates are just trying & they are getting ready for the 2027 elections, "John Kaguchia Speaker, Nyeri said.
On the other hand, ODM Senator Ledama Ole Kina during the interview went ahead to claim that there are high levels of corruption in the Parliament. He claims that money has always been given to MPs to vote in favor of some bills.
"We are all corrupt; no one is a saint in this country. Even in parliament, there are no saints there, they are all corrupt. We need to realize that we have a good country and we need to help our youths get employed," Ledama Olekina asserted.
