Martha Karua was nominated to be Raila Amollo Odinga's running mate a few days ago. Since then she has intensified campaigns in Central Kenya asking the residents to choose Odinga as their next President. For the last three days, she has been in Tharaka Nithi County whereby she has attracted a huge crowd in her rallies.
Today Karua accompanied by several prominent politicians including the Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya and many others toured Mukurweini and Othaya constituencies. One clear thing is that they were received with a warm reception by thousands of people who cheered them. Munya and Karua assured the residents of Mt Kenya that their interests will be catered to in Odinga's regime. Here are some pictures were taken showing people listening to these leaders.
I only ask our political leaders to use the same energy to accomplish the development projects in all categories when they get elected. Remember after elections we need better roads, better health care, and employment opportunities.
