Wahome To Murkomen: Leave Me Alone, Move To KANU Without Causing Drama

Popular lawyers Wahome Thuku and Kipchumba Murkomen on Thursday engaged in a war of words that left their followers on social media throughly regaled.

It started when Thuku posted on his Facebook page an alleged speech by Murkomen in which he was quoted telling Deputy President William Ruto to abandon his 2022 presidential bid in favour of ODM leader Raila Odinga.

The Elgeyo Marakwet Senator allegedly said there was need for Ruto and his allies from the Rift Valley to retreat and strategise noting Mt Kenya had become hostile for the DP and warmed up to Raila.

But Murkomen dismissed the story and clarified he has not dumped Ruto or the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), adding those who were making such malicious claims were propagandists and rumours mongers.

The Senator noted he learnt of the rumours that were being spread against him after returning from USA where he was on official duty.

But in a quick rejoinder, Thuku laughed off Murkomen's sentiment telling him to move to KANU silently without dragging his name.

"Tell Murkomen to leave me alone. Let him move to KANU slowly without making noise," the lawyer posted on Facebook.
