Ndindi Nyoro Pays Ksh.10K For Ruto's Portrait, Gives The DP New Name

While addressing residents of Mpeketoni in Lamu West Constituency of Lamu County after joining Deputy President William Ruto in an empowerment programme, the Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro caused a stir with a hilariously delivered address.

The outspoken MP who was among the fifteen Members of Parliament that had joined the DP in that visit to Lamu had a lively address that left residents of Mpeketoni in stitches as he saw one young man go home with ten thousand shillings.

He started his speech by telling the people of Lamu that "us the people of the Gikuyu community are used to having our own Presidential Candidate in every election but this time we have a special one. Our very own this time is called William Kamau Ruto."

Then as he was speaking, he noticed from the crowd near the podium a young man holding DP Ruto's portrait which was more of a copy of the DP in the outfit he had during his daughter's wedding a while ago.

The seemingly impressed MP requested the security team to allow the young man to ascend the podium for him to have appreciate his nice work.

After getting a better look of the portrait, he placed his hands in his pocket and announced that "I want to promote the hustle of this friend of mine. I'm buying this portrait for ten thousand shillings."

He gave the young man some money then mumbled something in his ear before telling him that "take this portrait to the hustler himself so that you may take a photo with him."

Upon resuming to delivering his speech, the MP had one bold request to President Uhuru Kenyatta regarding the current 10pm-4am curfew.

He told the President that "come tomorrow during the Mashujaa Day celebrations, you must suspend this curfew Mr. President Uhuru Kenyatta.

If you are not going to suspend this curfew the normal way, then you'll know that we as hustlers have the master key for reopening the country!"

In the video of the link below, the MP calls DP Ruto "Kamau" at minute 12:00, pays for the portrait at minute 14:00 and demands for President Uhuru to suspend the curfew at minute 16:00.
