The Democratic Action Party's attitude gave the Azimio La Umoja campaign a positive signal ahead of the national elections.

Three UDA governorship candidates in the Trans Nzoia Province have joined the Azimio La Umoja side and endorsed Natembeya as the new governor of the Trans Nzoia Region, according to internet sources.
The three are Philemon Samoei, Julia Kichwen, Teresa Meti, and Simon Mutai. This is fantastic news for DAP Party presidential candidate George Natembeya and Azimio La Umoja's presidential candidate Raila Odinga, because they are both candidates. Raila's candidate, Azimio La Umoja movement , will be canvassing for Raila.
The by-election candidates are UDA nominees who were defeated in the party's primaries early this month.
