Political Strategist Advises Ruto To Quit Government As The Last Financial Year Begins

Deputy President William Ruto

Deputy President William Ruto declared that he won't resign despite receiving pressure from a section of government and opposition leaders.

Ruto has given clear indications that he is ready to go it alone in the 2022 presidential race, with or without the support of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Despite DP Ruto's stand to stay put in the Jubilee administration, Benji Ndolo thinks it's time for the country's number two to do the opposite.

Ndolo is a known communication guru, Rights advocate, and Political strategist. He is a former adviser and deputy chief of protocol in the defunct Office of the Vice President, Kalonzo Musyoka.

According to Ndolo, Ruto can still come back strong if he quits the government as the financial year begins.

"I advise H.E Hon William Ruto if he feels the going is still rough and untenable, resign from the government and walk away as the financial year begins. You'll come back strong, but stay put if a plan is there where you take over from within," Benji Ndolo said.
