Elgeyo Marakwet deputy governor Speaks After Raila Odinga Visited DP Ruto's Bedroom

Elgeyo Marakwet deputy governor Wisley Rotich has spoken after Opposition and Azimio La Umoja, presidential candidate Raila Odinga visited Iten town percieved to be Ruto bedroom.

Through his Facebook page he wrote “I wish to appreciate the great people of Elgeyo Marakwet for their calm during Assimio visit to our County despite being a 100% Kenya Kwanza zone. This should be a lesson to our competitors who are prone to violence. Tolerance at its best is our motto in UDA and Kenya Kwanza. Now let us prepare for an Earthshaking Reception of the 5th, The Doyen William Samoei Ruto on Monday 25th,”

This comes after opposition leader Raila Odinga on Thursday visited Iten town in his bid to look for votes in the region perceived to be Ruto’s stronghold.

Wisly Rotich was recently nominated to carry the UDA party gubernatorial ticket in the forthcoming August polls.

He is a big critiques of the opposition leader Raila Odinga’s presidential bid in the forthcoming August polls terming him not fit take over from president Uhuru Kenyatta who is serving his second and last term in office.
