2022 is Just around the corner and aspirants like Deputy President William Ruto have already started campaigning in a bid to beat his opponents by higher margin when finally come around.
That's despite some politicians going against it saying there's still a long time before campaigns start because a lot of work to the common mwananchi needs to be done.
With Jubilee party at instability levels since DP and Uhuru allies devided themselves into Tanga Tanga and Kieleweke movements respectively, some members have already started mentioning their preferred candidate with Uhuru set to announce who he will back to succeed him when he retires.
Garissa Town MP Aden Duale is back with a bang after missing in action for a while since his unceremonious removal as Majority Leader.
Speaking during an interview with Jacque Marine the Garissa township MP said he will support DP Ruto with all his energy including mobilizing the whole North Eastern Region to Rally behind the outspoken DP to take reigns.
“My candidate for 2022 is William Ruto. I will use whatever it takes to campaign for him,” he asserted.
Regarding possible alliances, he maintained that the 2022 race to State House only involved two horses, terming the other contenders as ‘donkeys’, jokingly.
“Unless the rest of the candidates join our coalition, they should not even bother looking for me,” he remarked.
