Kenyans React To DP William Ruto's Blunder After His Events In Embu
Deputy president William Ruto is currently on an ambitious drive as he strategizes his moves in his quest to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta once his term comes to an end in 2022 as per the provisions of the 2010 constitution.
The second in command has pitched camp in the Mt Kenya region over the last two days as he continues to popularize his hustler nation narrative. Yesterday, he was in Meru county where he visited various parts of the county and presided over various Initiatives.
Today, Ruto was in Embu county where he was accompanied by a host of members of parliament. Few moments ago, he has taken to social media to send a message to leaders.
He urged them to work collectively to ensure that Kenya is placed on a good path that will guarantee a better life for the ordinary people. However, there was a blunder in his message that has triggered reactions from kenyans.
The DP said that he held a stop over at Kiritiri market after a prayer service at Kiritiri Catholic Church in Mbeere south which is found in Meru county.
An independent online search by this writer revealed that Kiritiri and Mbeere south regions are located in Embu county and not Meru county as shared by the deputy president on social media.
See the reactions from kenyans:
Dennis Tuluba: Mbere iko embu wewe jamaa wa kupea vijana wheelbarrow na msichana yako ya 21yrs ni ambassador Poland ...unatubeba malenge.
Mwenda Vincent: point of correction. It is Embu county and not Meru county.
Baba Qay: Mbeere south is in Embu county.
