The country is just a few days away from the general election that is likely to be hotly contested between Raila Odinga and William Ruto. The two have proved that they are the ones to beat in the coming general election.Yesterday,Professor George Wajackoya and William Ruto launched their manifestos at the same time.Losts of promises have come up and it is now upon the electorates to choose the one whose manifesto resonates well with them.
Raila Odinga had launched his manifesto. He continues traversing the country to consolidate his support bases especially the key battlegrounds. In order to give DP Ruto some hectic times and get as many seats as possible,Raila's camp has decided to axe the weaker candidates and have the strongest candidates face the UDA candidates.
Seemingly, this plan may not fully work.Azimio has been getting rebellions with singer Bahati disclosing that he had been given Ksh 50M that he turned down.As if not enough, Embakasi North ODM MP aspirant Ms Muringi has said that she will not bow out for James Gakuya whom she lost narrowly to in 2017.Will Azimio's plan work as expected?
