Blogger Dennis Itumbi has alleged the new officials that will be appointed at the upcoming National Delegates Convention by Jubilee Party in a move to restore the camp and kick out disloyal members. In a list provided by the blogger, the name of the current Secretary-general Raphael Tuju is missing signaling that he may be axed out from the position giving it to Priscilla Nyokabi.
Another interesting official set to be removed is Deputy President William Ruto who position of deputy party leader is set to be given out to either Nakuru governor Lee Kinyanjui, Hon. Adan Keynan, or Hon. Maison Leshomo.
Among key issues to be streamlined at the meeting will be why the party won't field their preferred choice in the incoming general election in 2022 and give direction to its' members on the way forward after endorsing Raila Odinga for the presidency. Also, rebels in the party won't be spared as they will be chased out of the party as had been earlier stated by Jubilee joint party secretary Adan Keynan.
