The cabinet secretary for environment and forestry Hon Soipan Tuya is currently in Egypt attending the climate change conference. According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, several leaders across the continent are also attending the conference at Sharma El Sheikh in Egypt.
The president William Ruto appointed Hon Soipan Tuya after being vetted by the members of parliament. Soipan Tuya is expected to address the leaders at the conference on climate change. The conference is about the climate change which has affected many people in the continent. According to the reports, Kenya is among the top countries which are experiencing climate change.
Kajiado County and Turkana county are among the top regions which are experiencing drought and famine. It is now time for all kenyans to support the government in planting trees. Remember to maintain peace among each other during this time where many Kenyans are suffering due to high cost of living.
