Governor Waiguru has raised an alarm to Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) alleging entry of strange ballot boxes in the County rallying center in Kiringaga.

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) gubernatorial hopeful has alleged that two ballot boxes staffed with governor's ballot papers have entered Kirinyaga through the backdoor.

She has alleged a plot to rig out the elections and has demanded that IEBC must order the ballot boxes to be removed from the rallying center and the counting process stopped immediately.

"Rigging in broad day light - Two ballot boxes with governors' ballots enter Kirinyaga through the back door in broad daylight! They MUST be removed and counting must stop! Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission(IEBC)," Governor Anne Waiguru said.
