Raila Odinga has already arrived at Safari Park Hotel where he is currently meeting businessmen and opinion shapers from the region for a lunch break. Raila keeps as securing the top seen with endorsement from the region. Those present played a key role in the election and win of Uhuru and Ruto in the past elections.
Among them include SK. Macharia and other prominent leaders from the region. From the look of things, the meeting is aimed at ensuring that the region endorses a single candidate for the top seat in the next general election which was only months ago.
The team that Raila is meeting played a very crucial role in the coming together of Ruto and President Kenyatta in 2017 before the two leaders fell out after the polls. Raila has continued to enjoy a good run in the region which was assumed to be hostile to him.
